CHEERLEADING IN SCHOOLS PROGRAM

At Edge, we offer a unique opportunity for schools, as we have staff who are registered (TRBWA) and qualified teachers that have degrees in Physical Education. What this means, is that your school does not need to provide a supervisor/ teacher to watch the team train.

Samantha Kukura has been a full time high school teacher for six years and worked with various schools, in particular Carey Baptist College. Carey has had a very successful Cheerleading Program, winning many competitions and giving their students some amazing opportunities.

Training times are flexible; we can come during lunch hours or before school. School teams are then more than welcome to come and use our facilities at Edge prior to competitions to gain the experience of what it would be like to compete on a world sized sprung floor. We are also mindful that schools have a limited budget for these sorts of programs and will be happy to try and work something out that is also cost effective.

We would be more than happy to come into your school to either coach a team that wants to go to competitions or just to teach some skills for fun. Cheerleading is also a great team work sport that can be a great activity for other sporting teams to try to assist with the cohesiveness of the team.  If you are interested in seeing a Cheerleading program at your school, get in touch with us and we can assist you with what would be the best cheer experience for your school!
