Group Training
At Edge Fitness we specialise in group training. Group training is becoming more popular as not only a great way to get healthy but also as a way to get out and have some fun with people just like you. The best thing is that you still get a qualified personal trainer who can help you with plans for extra sessions during the week, nutritional advice and all the support and motivation that comes from personal training.
Setting Up Your Own Group
If you are looking for the comfort and convenience of training with your own family or friends and a time and location that suit’s you, then you may wish to set up your own private, group training session.
This is often a very popular option as not only do you have lots of fun with your friends, you will also find yourself more motivated to get out there each week. There is also the added benefit of reducing the cost, at Edge Fitness the cost for your personal trainer can be as little as $10 per person when you are in a big group.
Join an Existing Group
Edge Fitness also runs a number of public groups. Theses groups are designed to make it easy for you to find a group of people, with similar goals to head out and exercise with. Scarborough - We have several groups running in Scarborough.
Monday and Wednesday at 5:15pm
Monday and Wednesday at 6:30pm
and lookin at starting Tuesday and Friday at 6am
- All sessions go for one hour!
- There is shelter and light so winter is not a problem
- If you wish for an extended workout arrive at early for the handball games that starts at 6:15pm.
Kings Park - NEW GROUP!!
We will have a group running in King's Park for Monday and Wednesday evenings at 5:45pm starting on the 5th of October - if you are interested in this group please register your details.
Kings Park - Saturday Morning - we have a group that runs at 6:30am on Saturday Morning - meeting near the DNA tower - what better way to start your weekend.
Bindoon - Trainers for Edge Fitness are running group classes in Bindoon on Friday evenings at 6:30pm There are a few spaces available.
Glengarry Primary School (Duncraig) (Monday and Wednesday Mornings 6:30am)
- Ladies Group – An already established group, always welcoming new members. Parking is available on Glengarry Drive and training is held in the undercover area in the middle of the school.
Glenforrest (Monday and Wednesday Mornings 9:30am)
Ellenbrook (Saturday at 7am)
- We have a group running in Ellenbrook near the Arbor Grove Primary School
- The Saturday Morning group is an early start but is a great way to kick of your weekend.
South of the River
We have interest from several people about starting a group in the Southern River/ Canningvale direction for a morning group. Please send through an email if you are interested.
