Group Training
At Edge Fitness we specialise in group training. Group training is becoming more popular as not only a great way to get healthy but also as a way to get out and have some fun with people just like you. The best thing is that you still get a qualified personal trainer who can help you with plans for extra sessions during the week, nutritional advice and all the support and motivation that comes from personal training.
Setting Up Your Own Group
If you are looking for the comfort and convenience of training with your own family or friends and a time and location that suit’s you, then you may wish to set up your own private, group training session.
This is often a very popular option as not only do you have lots of fun with your friends, you will also find yourself more motivated to get out there each week. There is also the added benefit of reducing the cost, at Edge Fitness the cost for your personal trainer can be as little as $10 per person when you are in a big group.
Join an Existing Group
Edge Fitness also runs a number of public groups. Theses groups are designed to make it easy for you to find a group of people, with similar goals to head out and exercise with. Train With The Trainers - Sunday Mornings at 9am
For those of you who do not know what the Train with the Trainers sessions involve. Basically we go to a different location each week for a 90min training session that is designed to one push us as trainers. But is also designed so that anyone of even a beginning fitness level can join in and get the same benefits. Best of all it’s a great environment to get to know your trainers and also to get to know people who are looking to achieve the same goals as you are.
These sessions are a great way to get in a solid weekly work out or add that much needed extra session each week without breaking the budget. Sign up to a five week block for only $50 or pay $15 to come for one off sessions.
If you are attending a weekend for your first time can you please let me know so we can organise our session based on numbers.
Scarborough - We have several groups running in Scarborough.
- The Monday Wednesday is full and only now open to friends and family of existing participants.
- The Tuesday and Thursday group is now half full and runs at 6:30pm meeting at Abbott Park in Scarborough. Please email to find out more information.
- We have also just set up a Saturday Morning group at Abbott Park for 8am, this group also has a few spaces left.
Perth CBD - This group is up and running, 6:30am every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, with Ryan (the owner of EF) taking you through your paces. These sessions are somewhere different everymorning so to find out where we are next for a free trial please email us.
We have options for doing either 1, 2 or 3 sessions per week. These sessions will be some of the best in Perth so please book your spot early.
Glengarry Primary School (Duncraig) (Monday and Wednesday Mornings 6:30am)
- Ladies Group – An already established group, always welcoming new members. Parking is availible on Glengarry Drive and training is held in the undercover area in the middle of the school.
Canning Vale - This group is taking a slight holiday, please let us know if you are interested and we can let you know what options are in your area.
Hammond Park - We have a new group down in Hammond Park that has a few spots left. This group is training Monday and Wednesday nights at 6pm. If you are interested please contact Ryan.
